Does anyone know if this site gets updated anymore, or if there is another site that has the same information? It doesn't look like it's been updated in a while which stinks because if it is accurate it's really cool. I did see a thread on here earlier this year that questioned the validity of it all.

I'd say that since you got it off of web.archive it probably is not anymore.

It's a really good page though. I have it saved on my machine.

Yeah, I wonder where the fuck they are getting this info.

I bet 'Big Word' is the song that we call 'I'm Still Here'.

And I want to hear every one of these songs!

Were you looking to give advice or get advice? 8)

Thanks for the new site PD. But I see a few things that I wonder about.

Why do they have You Are listed as "A.K.A. Undone" and "Love Boat Captain (AKA Boom B3)?" Was that a running title at one point? And why are there "unknown" listings and question marks? It's as if they knew there were a certain number of tracks recorded at that session and since they didn't have enough titles they just put "unknown" in there. I would think that if they didn't have a title then they wouldn't list anything at all.

I remember reading in an interview that "You Are" did in fact used to be "Undone". Something about Matt didn't want two songs to have the same title so he changed the words. And Boom B3 could have been a nickname for LBC, since it is his song, and isn't that thing he plays called a B3?

I would also put "unknown" down if I knew they recorded something but wasn't sure what. This list seems pretty legit, since it goes along with the right timeline and matches a lot of things that I read from interviews and whatnot.

Maybe this guy was the janitor at the studio and went sifting through the trash after they left :naughty:

Yeah it's a B3. It was a gift from one of the guys in the band The Rascals 8)

Somewhere in Seattle there is a janitor that has a key to the room with all of the original Pearl Jam tapes....

The second link has Hold On as being recorded in the same session vs. was recorded. If you look in Lost Dogs, it says the tune was recorded for the vs. album. It also says that Dave Krusen played drums on it. If you listen to it, it is definitely Krusen on the skins. My question is this: If that is when the tune was recorded, and was recorded for that album, then why is Krusen drumming on it? I can't see the band using a guy that was no longer with the band to come in and record one tune for their upcoming album. Doesn't make sense. I think it was recorded before that session. They may have wanted to ( or even actually did) re-record during those sessions, but it would almost have to have been before Krusen left the band.

Those are cool sites, tho. Thanks for sharing them.

Wish I could read French ( if, in fact, it is French on that second link).

Wouldn't it just be really, really cool to hear all these early versions of these tunes? The mind boggles.

i don't know if steve still runs the sessions guide, but i remember we talked a few times about trying to confirm some info. it was good that he put it together, but if i remember, a lot of the info wasn't exactly correct

WTF is Goat?

Goat is some song that is under two minutes long, and if it was included on Ten, it would undoubtedly have been dubbed as filler.

Here are the lyrics:
(she was an evil little goat, goat, goat)
(she was an evil little goat, goat, goat)
(and i wish she...)
she was an evil little goat, goat, goat
she was an evil little goat, goat, goat
she was an evil little goat, goat, goat
she was an evil little...
he brought her back from scandinavia
she wind the mountains and the clothes were new
she knew the mountains...a little dangerous
she is the one
and she was an evil little goat, goat, goat
she was an evil little goat, goat, goat
she was an evil little goat, goat, goat
she was an evil little goat, goat, goat
baaaa
she was an evil little goat, goat, goat

You can download the song at http://www.lukin.com
