I wanna see some regular people get elected. No political experience whatsoever. Just take the whole fucking thing over. It would be a "learn-as-you-go" type of deal.

I'm looking for a moderate. Preferably someone with a good sense of morals, but does not want to force them onto others.
Also someone who wants to try to solve the social security problem, the social inequalities, and someone who is sincerely interested in creating good feelings all across the board.

I would like to see McCain or Giuliani (LONG SHOT) run...but it will be a tough fight for either of them to come out of the primary. Bill Owens would be a good candidate...and who knows...Kay Baily Hutchison?
As for the dems, Evan Bayh is without question the best option. It's clear that they need a moderate to win over some of the red states...and I think he has mass appeal...I would even contemplate voting for him...depending on who the R's put up, of course.

I think all of those are good names. I'd also like to see Arnold, but even if he wasn't constitutionally barred, he'd have a worse chance to get the nomination than Giuliani would.

I have a feeling that Rudi will be challenging Hillary for the Senate in 2006. Like you, I doubt he'd be able to win the nomination for the presidential race.

This would be the PERFECT thing for him to do. I've been thinking about that for a couple years or so.
