Sweet, I've always said I'd be willing to buy Daily Show episodes if they released them on DVD. The writing is so fantastic it can survive how aged the topics could become.

When you're 83 years old, have lived through WWII, written some of the best contemprary novels of the 20th century.. i think you've earned the right to say whatever you want. "...and that's why we have giraffes, hippopotumi and the clap!"
Oh man... it seems as though he is in declining health. I guess I'm too young to know of him, but ... that guy seems a bit dwindling.
he is almost 83. he didn't seem too out of it on real time friday night, and he sure hasn't in his most recent writings..
and, uhh, i don't think you're too young to know of him. he's a pretty well known author.
Funny how every other word out of his mouth was "uh" or "um" and then he made fun of how the president cant speak.
i heard him speaking on NPR the other day, an interview taken from ten years ago.its crazy how much hes aged. ten years ago he was "old" in the sense of "wow, i can really learn a lot from this guy. so much wisdom"...but after seeing him last night, hes now "old" in the sense of "aww look, grandpa's talking about rice again. everyone act as if we're paying attention"...
poor guy. happens to everyone though. i dont think he has many years left in him. id be surprised if he is alive for more than 2 or 3 more.
Jesus christ. Cats Cradle is such an incredible novel.
