Believe or disbelieve?

06 - Mcnabb sore sternum early in the year.

05 - Ray Lewis - not a Ray Lewis type year

04 - Vick broken leg out for season, pregame.

I can't remember past 04 but I'm pretty sure bad things happened to those people too.

Why not use generic football guy for the cover?

03 was faulk, and look what happened to him.

2003 Marshall Faulk - Ankle Injury
2002 Daunte Culpepper - 78.5 QB Rating
2001 Eddie George - 3.4 Yards Per Carry

The article actually talks about a bunch of different sports game covers

I forgot, I know there was the male pattern baldness but I'm sure something was worse right?

The real question should be why he wasn't on the cover this year?

It probably has to do with race, although the fact that he went to the Bowl and Manning didn't may play a role as well.

don't think they have. I actually was surprised that Brady hadn't been on yet, or Peyton for that matter.

This might be part of the curse, I think that was the year he went from being quirky to being downright retarded on commentary.

Peyton has been a coverboy for the NFL Fever video game series. EA Sports hasn't gotten their mits on him, but they can now since they have the only NFL License in video games now.
