New show debuts this fall staring Amy Grant to follow in the footsteps of the Extreme Makeover home edition. It called Three Wishes They are shows designed to make you cry or restore faith in humanity or whatever. I am sick of reality and especially sick of emo shows

I've hated them since the beginning. The people who get made over need to consider the possibility that their problems don't stem from their looks, but from their vapid personalities.

Strangely enough, these shows only weaken my faith in humanity and strengthen my hypothesis that the most abundant element in the universe is in fact stupidity and not hydrogen.

Even if it's for the advertising revenue, they're doing something good for kids with cancer and somesuch.

This thread sort of reminds me of kicking a puppy, even if it's one that piddles on the floor too much.
