I went to the tech Ohio game saturday and i just have to say a few things...
Techs defense looked a little rough in the nc state game because their tackling looked like crap but they have deffinatly improved the past few games. Their offense on the other hand could still use some improvement if they are seruiously thinking about being a rose bowl selection... Jimmy Williams isnt getting tested as much as he used o at corner back so Roland Minor has had to step things up at the oppostie corner and he has done an excelent job.. Xavier Addibi is looking great too.. I just hope that they can all stay healty on defense because without them the offense would certanly struggle even more... they had key turnovers that gave Vick and company great field postion and opportunities to score.... Marcus was impressive but hes far from Michael right now... He doesnt have the instinct on when he should run like mike does but it will hopefully come with experience.. he does however have great leadership in the huddle and seems to be very calm and relaxed for having had so much throwwn at him already... it will be interesting to see how he does against a feroucios Ga tech team that will be ready for revenge on last year..

i think they have the best defense in the country.
I've been very impressed thus far. I love how we've been able to force turnovers. And while it's still Duke, I think it is impressive to hold the Blue Devils to under 40 total yards in offense, and negative overall net yardage after penalties.
The Georgia Tech game should be good. I feel confident considering the game is in Blacksburg, but even more confident after learning that Reggie Ball might be out because of viral meningitis. I hope he gets better though.
Ever since I had like a 15 year dynasty in NCAA Football 02 with Va Tech where I played something like 50 games, I've been in love with the Hokies. It makes no sense I know, but hot damn I love me some Blacksburg football. Any team that can play special teams that well is a-ok in my book

Ga Tech has a very decent Defense.
The problem, it's not known if QB Reggie Ball can make the trip yet, he was diagnosed with Viral Meningitis last saturday and is expected to be released from the hospital today. The rookie behind him, is to say the least, not very good.
That being said, I don't know if there is anyone in the country that can cover Calvin Johnson effectively. If Ball plays, it might be a great game, I don't know if Tech can do a whole lot with the rookie under center, but they do still have PJ Daniels and Calvin Johnson, so we'll see. That, and the rookie didn't lose to Va tech at home last year running out the back of the end zone in the 4th quarter either.

I think Tech will run the table this year, at least until the ACC Championshiop game. The only game Im really concerned about is West Virginia. If any Tech fan goes to Morgantown for that game, be advised not to talk any shit, becuase you will be beat down, and hard. WVU fans are lowlifes, mean, and downright rude rednecks. And since this is the last time we are probably gonna play them for a while, its gonna be 10x worse. It would be best to not even wear any VT appearal.

Ok buddy, come to Morgantown on the weekend of September 1st, I'll give you a brand new VT sweatshrit and ball hat. Then I challenge you to walk around town Friday night or around tailgates Saturday morning yelling phrases like,"fuck the Mountain-queers." We'll see who the pussy is then.

I take fucking offense to that you asswipe!!
I'll admit that some of the drunken idiots in Morgantown can be completely out of line and downright mean. But don't sterotype all WVU fans based on those jerkoffs. The majority of Mountaineer fans are loyal dedicated football fanatics who love a good rivalery, like VT and Pitt. It's really a damn shame we won't see this matchup for 6 years. Does tradition not mean shit to anyone?

Your right, I was being stereotypical. I know not all WVU fans are like that. Although the ones you hear about in the news, setting couches on fire and destroying everything in site, kind of cover up those who show good sportsmenship. Morgantown is one of the best college towns in America, and I still frequent there a few times of year just to hang out with my buddy who is working on his masters, and to go to Bent Willies Thursday nights and hit on easy freshmen girls. And I do mean easy!!
Your also right in that its a shame this rivalery is going to end. There is nothing but hate between these two teams and their fans, which is great! Its what college football is all about.

Apparently I'm not the only one who thinks they're overrated. But am I the only one who thinks Vick should have never been allowed to come back at all?
