my position is the following:

it isn't going to hurt anyone to let 2 homosexuals be married, all it will do is make 2 people very happy.

No, I shouldn't. Express your ideas in a civil manner or people aren't going to give you the time of day.

I actually pretty much agreed with Kerry on this issue. I think marriage, by definition, is what it is....but a contitutional amendment is out of the question. should be left to the states.

Your remark that anyone against it is stupid makes your post not worth reading to me. It's nothing to do with the issue; it's the tired generalizations that are getting pretty dang annoying here.

I'm pretty much there too - I just don't see why people make such a fuss over it - no one's forcing a hetero to marry someone of the same sex or something, so its not going to affect hetero marriage. Actually I think the big deal for a lot of people is the religion thing - its against their religion, so they want everyone to not be able to do it. Me? whatever - live and let live, you know?

I honestly couldn't care less what you or anybody else does in the privacy of their own bedroom/home. But why do you have to tell me about it? Keep it to yourself!

Call it marriage or civil union, the government should not be allowed to treat hetero and homosexual relationships differently.

This is one case where I can actually see things in black and white.
