Outlander has yet to get an avatar. At this point, that is the only distinction. That and the letters s, i, l, a and n.

I like your flashy avatar, toots.

I usually read the board names most of the times because alot of people like to change their avatar too often. Then, you have washmykev who likes to make .gif files of other peoples' avatars to fuck with people like me. goddamnsumbitch! :x

Why not? It's the internet.

Have you heard? Lynn Swann is running for governor in '06. I hope he beats Rendell. From what I understand, he's quite the public speaker. We need a little charisma back in our gubernatorial races again. Last election sucked.

As a politician, absolutely not. As a charasmatic leader, absolutely. If, and this is a big if, he surrounds himself with good people, he could really do some amazing things. Granted, his fellow Republican candidate has more know how, but if he doesn't step it up and get people engaged, Swann will slap him around. People vote in the guy/girl that they feel connected to. Not the guy that understands the charts he's reading from. It's unfortunate, but it's true. The majority do not pay attention to the issues.

Rendell has not done good things for the Commonwealth. His administration is run poorly at best. The people I've worked with as well as various cabinet members do not have their shit together. Communication breaks down at every level. It's almost as though they are ruling the Commonwealth rather than representing the Commonwealth.

i agree rendell has to go, and i love the guy, but he's had so much opposition from the republican congress that he could get absolutely nothing done. plus, you're right on when you say his administration is inept. he learned to take care of his friends here in philly, but they are not suited for state-wide politics, and he should have but better people around himself.

i fear a PA run by lynn swann with john perzel and his cronies tugging at the marionette strings. that bullshit pay raise that was passed two months ago will be the least of our worries. who needs a middle class anyway?
