yeah sparta is pretty awesome, i thought they showed great progress with porcelain. i've gotten into the habit of putting all the sparta, mars volta, and at the drive-in songs on a playlist in my ipod and then shuffling it up, makes for an awesome musical experience

Sparta is an awesome band. I like Porcelain a little more than Wiretap Scars. But both are awesome.

I've got Porcelain for free, but it hasn't clicked with me yet. So far The Mars Volta >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Sparta in post-Atd-i bands.

I love ATDI, I love TMV, but Sparta sucks. They can't write good music, and their "vocalist" couldn't sing a note to save his life.

this might sound weird, but i really dont like ATDI, and i have Mars volta-deloused in the comatorium, its ok, but ithink Sparta is ten times better than both. i cant even picture them being in the same band becuase mars volta and sparta have completely different sounds as well as atdi. i would think that most PJ fans would like sparta music over mars becuase it sounds more like Pj than mars. mars music is good but its so weird and different, sparta is just good rock!! and their music is suberb i love it , but " to each his own" :D

i love sparta. wiretap scars and porcelain are great albums. porcelain is a lot more mature. i love while oceana sleeps. great tune. also syncope and tensioning are amazing. the whole album is great. it took me a bit longer to get into that wiretap scars though. a few listens and i was hooked. i actually listened to porcelian on the drive to work today.

I may be one of the only people who likes Sparta more than ATDI and Mars Volta.

I am making a mix Cd for my girlfriend. What is a nice, chill Sparta song that I could include in the mix? Any suggestions. I need to get more into them. I really dug them when they opened for PJ but I am not aware of any of their songs...so any suggestions?
