so today a friend gave me his DOD grunge 69b effects pedal,
what i'm wondering is,does the b mean bass? like in amps theres like 35b for bass amps and such,any info is greatly appreciatted.

I do know that DOD has a Grunge pedal for the bass...or at least they did ten years ago. But I believe it was called Bass Grunge. Maybe the B stands for badass...

I'd look it up on e-bay and see what people say about it there.

I think it's the newer of the FX69s. It's definitely for guitar. Here's the manual, although the PDF looks kinda screwy for me:
