like we didn't figure that. Torn ACL, possibly even done for his career. oh well just another injury the patriots will have to overcome. it's just a shame it had to happen to such a great guy, his intensity on the field will surely be missed.

not for his career I wouldn't think, not quite yet. no biggie, the Pats can lose the whole team and put cardboard cutouts out there, and still win.

Why not use Troy Brown? :D Just shift one of the bigger corners to harrisons postion and they will do fine. It's not like you still don't have Richard Seymour and oh several other amazing guys back there.

They won without Milloy. They won without Law.
maybe once they win without Harrison people will start realizing it doesn't matter who's back there - Belicheck will figure out a way.

agreed, and i can see why people hate Rodney. He's an Ulf Samuelsson type guy you love when he's on your team but hate when he's on the opposing team. After Brady Harrison might be the one guy they could not afford to lose, especially with no Bruschi this year.

I'd be pissed with losing Harrison, if the Pats hadn't demonstrated over the years that they can overcome losing some of their top players and win the Super Bowl.

Lose Bledsoe, get Brady

Lose Milloy, Harrison steps up

Lose Law, Pats win superbowl with street free agents playing the corner, plus a convert WR filling in.

The Pats will be ok

To be fair, Harrison was probably the best strong safety in the game coming from San Diego, so I don't think he really stepped anything up.

It's going to take me a while to doom the Patriots for this injury. With Harrison and some CBs out, they still managed to beat one of the best teams in the league. Until they start losing more that once in a blue moon, no one should be underestimating them.
