what do the playoffs have to do with mvp?
You brought them up, so please explain what they have to do with the MVP.
seems like this thread should've been made a week ago if it wasn't in response to his playoff performance.
The implication is that the Yankees fans can enjoy the meaningless MVP award ARod got instead of another world championship. A-Rod's lack of "clutch" hitting is part of the reason they're now sitting at home watching the playoffs.

AROD = not clutch, enjoy the mvp yankee fans.
I'm very depressed. I may have to pop in the 2000 World Series video to cheer myself up.

I don't think most yankee fans give a shit about the MVP, Cy Young Award or any of the other individual awards.
