I'm trying to watch at least one horror movie per day this month, is anyone else trying this?

I've missed two days so far, but I think the multiple titles on other days make up for it. Here's what I've watched so far:
1st: ---
2nd: Dawn of the Dead (1978)
3rd: Creepshow (1982)
4th: Near Dark (1987)/The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974)/Day of the Dead (1985)
5th: Near Dark (1987)/Dead Alive (1992)
6th: Dead Alive (1992)/The Fog (1980)
7th: ---
8th: Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer (1986)/Halloween (1978)
9th: White Zombie (1932)/Army of Darkness (1993)/28 Days Later (2002)
10th: Near Dark (1987)
11th: High Tension (2003)/Undead (2003)

I've still gotta finish Undead tonight and I'll probably watch High Tension again, too. Hehe.

Dude, that's a cool idea. If my wife didn't hate scary movies so much, I'd do domething like this in a heartbeat.

You have some good selections there... Dead Alive is a flat classic, the original "The Fog" was uncannily good, and Dawn of the Dead, well.... that one has a legitimate shot at being my fave horror movie EVER.

Happy October.

For some reason I always feel the need to watch the later Halloween sequels (pre-H20) on AMC. I know they're shitty, and I wish to god AMC would actually play some good horror, or good movies in general, but it's not Halloween without them.

Good Choices!

Henry just got reissued in a 2 dvd set. As soon as I find it, I am definitely picking it up.

I'll be getting High Tension tomorrow from Netflix, looking forward to watching it this weekend.

You watched Near Dark 3 times in the span of 6 days?

My original goal for the month was to do exactly 31 horror movies this month, one each day. Needless to say, at this point it isn't happening. I have managed to watch a few though and they have included:

Undead
Dead and Breakfast
The Exorcist
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre
Army of Darkness
Videodrome

Still on the list for this month are:
The Fog
Suspiria
High Tension (still haven't seen the US version)
Hellraiser
Candyman
Halloween
A Nightmare on Elm Street
All the Romero dead movies

Also, though I've heard they're pretty terrible, I'm going to watch Return of the Living Dead 4 and 5 on Sci-Fi this weekend, just to see and Saw II when it comes out on the 28th. Happy Horror!

I really need to get a copy of the Suspiria limited edition. I'd love to add that to the line-up.

Used to be 8 bucks at DDD. May still be.

It's $15 now (on sale during October).

Just a heads up: Amazon is having a HUGE sale on horror. You'll still usually get a better price on DDD (since they dont charge for standard shipping), but I got Demons for just over 7 bucks, and I'd never seen it for under 15 anywhere else. I'm probably going to go on an Asian horror binge, since they're having a sale on that too.

Oh don't you worry, that will be on there. I'll update it in a few days.

Add

The Shining

28 Days Later

Night of the Living Dead (1960's)

And for Halloween, you should watch Nosferatu. It's the classic horror film, and why we have the films we have today. The coffin scene is probably the only thing in a movie made before the late 60's that's still scary today.
