is anyone else seeing this? i just remember playing this video game everyday (and i may reload it onto my laptop) and i think i am seeing it for that reason alone.

also, the rock is underrated as an action movie star.

and i saw one coming attraction scene where he has the chainsaw...sick.

It honestly looks terrible. They completey ignored many of the classic aspects of doom (the uniforms for one) and have made it into what looks like a lame action movie. The whole point is that there's one man who has to save Mars (is this one even on Mars?), and the ruined that with the team aspect. I'm honestly pissed that they didn't stay true to the game.

i wish i could share with you people the version my boss has of doom. he took snippets from aliens and integrated them with the game however you do that.

so when multiple beasts come at you, you hear, holy fuck theyre all around us, theyre fucking everywhere etc...



on the movie note, i will see this next saturday matinee

pretty anus. doom is about lava pits full to the brim with hellspawn, not the rock sneaking around in the dark looking for a zombie or two...

Well, they stayed pretty close to Doom 3, but I think DOom 3 definately does not represent the series. When you think Doom, you don't think holding a flashlight and sneaking around. You think rushing from room to room, blasting imps with your shotgun, chaingunning marine zombies and tearing apart barons of hell with the BFG!

It's not even red though. This movie is gonna suck.

it could go either way but the chances of it sucking are quite high. although i still want to see it.
