I feel this needs to go here in PJ chat rather than the usual place for these in GD. This is because this guy is a testiment to how great Pearl Jam fans are.

About a month before the Canadian tour i posted here looking to see if anyone would grab a poster for me if I sent them money. Chris was the first to offer and I am so glad he did.

He was going to get me the ottawa and philly poster so i sent him enough money to cover those and even that was just enough. He kept me upto date on what he was doing and he got me the ottawa poster and straight away let me know he did, he also said there was minor creasing. Now that i have it i can not see a flaw on that poster it is the meaning of the word mint.

I then get a message a few days before borgota and he says that he is going to try to get me a poster from there too and he did. He then got me the philly poster. I cannot believe the generousity of chris!! 3 posters . I hope he doesnt mind me saying this all because i dont want him to be seen as a source for free stuff, hehe. But i am just so blown away at the moment.

So, Chris, Thank you so very very much I hope everyone here will see when you post and say, ahhh thats chris...god he is a nice guy.

Oh and how the hell did you manage to keep that AC poster from getting any more than minor creases (which i am sure will be barely visable once framed) when you were so close to the stage.

:worthy: :worthy:

i'm definitely co-signing on this one (i saw your philly poster before you got it tommy  ). two big thumbs up for chris. he just hooked me up bigtime on a B+P and it was much appreciated.

it was awesome to get to meet him and hang before the philly show. (even though i got a phone call at 3am from his friend :o)

and hes a big SK fan!

well, thanks tommy!

i didn't mind the getting the posters, but here's a funny story about it. tommy paypal'd the money to me a few days before i left for ottawa and i mentioned to my girlfriend i had to stop and get it out of the bank, and she was like "someone from austrailia you met on the internet just sent you money? pearl jam fans are crazy"

enjoy the posters!!

and that phone call wasn't my fault

oh..and:

you can thank canadian tour hoodie 793 for that. It also kept the ottawa poster dry, so that hoodie saved two posters. :P

actually, here's a fun activity for all. i was what some call a "lurker" on tsis and then rm for a pretty long time. if you search out my 1st post it may prove interesting. i chose the name to give some creedence to my post, since it was my 1st.
