From an email I recently received:

Quote:
Greetings from Houston-

It's been a very long time since you last heard from us. But we now have very good news. After two years of being tied up in limbo because of the unfortunate bankruptcy of Context Books, Daniel Quinn's titles were finally released and are now set for publication by Steerforth Press.

TALES OF ADAM, which many of you have been asking about, will be in bookstores November 1, 2005. It's a lovely book (and my favorite), delightfully illustrated with woodcuts by Michael McCurdy. You can find out more about it and see excerpts on the Ishmael website at: http://www.Ishmael.com/books/TalesOfAdam/

We're very excited to finally see this book in print after such a long wait.
It's a perfect book for family reading and for gift-giving.

When TALES comes out, Daniel and I will be doing a brief book tour in the
Northwest-Portland, Eugene, and Seattle-November 7-11. Please check the events section of the Ishmael website for specifics.

Those of you who live elsewhere and will not be able to get books signed can receive free signed bookplates. Information on how to get bookplates can be found on the website at http://www.ishmael.com/interaction/NewsAndInfo/

THE HOLY and AFTER DACHAU will be published in paperback in January. We'll have information about that on the website at that time.

In the meantime, have a look at TALES OF ADAM, and we'll hope to see many of you while we're in the Northwest in November.

Cheers--

Rennie Quinn
