Since the old thread is lost...

again...this was a HUGE gaffe on the part of ABC...

WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?

95% of us would rather see Teri Hatcher in the towel, as opposed to scarface.

Not that I mind seeing naked women but it was the wrong place, wrong time, wrong message for football.

i wonder how much this will be heard about for the next week or so with the basketball fight, and the fight in the south carolina football game.
they did talk about it on sports reporters this morning, but no where as much as the talked about the pacers pistons fight

The MNF controversy wasn't half as bad as the Pacers fight. Where are all the indecency complaints about that shit? There were kids crying in the stands!

Its one thing to laugh at the idiots fighting. But when I saw that poor kid crying, I almost shed a tear. I can only think that his family scrounged up the few dollars they had to take their sons to a basketball game to see their heroes. Then the shmuck heroes start beating on defenseless fans in the stands. That poor kid. The game ended early, it was chaos. Just not good, at all.

ANYWAY.

ANyone was offended by that NFL/Housewives ad is nuts. Where were you when the two girls were fighting in the Miller Lite ads. Or all the shampoo/soap commercials that show women showering and bathing. Its stupid and I have no idea what they get out of it, except some kind of sick satisfaction

I know I'm tired of hearing about it. It wasn't the right thing to show but get over it, I don't think it's going to leave any long term trauma.

I'm suprised it was even mentioned on the Sports Reporters on Sunday. I figured the only reason it was a big deal last week was because nothing else was going on. Anyway, I thought the whole thing was blown WAY out of proportion. This country needs to quit being so uptight about sex. It's just a woman's back.

Here's the difference.
My nephew actually asked his dad why that woman was in the locker room and why he wasn't going to go play with the rest of the team.

You can explain cheerleaders to a kid, they are there to cheer on a team.
You cannot explain why a naked woman is in a locker room.

How do you explain two women ripping off each others clothes in a water fountain while yelling at each other "great taste" & "less filling"?

haha! I know what i'd say to my kid. "Listen son...some girls have great bodies and they will whore themselves out to make money cause they don't have enough skills to do anything else."

i understand what you are saying, but i think that is the part where parents/uncles/aunts come in. explain to the kid that "TO likes her and wants to be her b/f" and the kid will get the jist of it w/o explaining anything sexual.
