I don't know, the thread was calling them another hype band so that's basically what we talked about. I've never personally heard them.

They make kind of funky indie music. Its the kind of music that makes your head bob up and down.
Try a song called "fake tales of san francisco" it will get you hooked!

Arctic Monkeys announce new single

But you'll have to wait until the New Year

Arctic Monkeys have announced details of their next single.

Following on from the Number One smash 'I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor', the band will release 'When The Sun Goes Down' on January 16.

Their as-yet-untitled debut album is expected to hits the shops on January 30, although this is currently unconfirmed.

To celebrate their current US tour, the 'I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor' single is now available through iTunes Stateside.

Backed with 'Bigger Boys And Stolen Sweethearts' and 'Chun Li's Spinning Bird Kick', the release will then hit US shelves on November 29 in 10" vinyl format.
