i was reading an article in USAToday and it was talking about Heath Miller, and they mentioned that he is on pace to break Eric Green's all-time TE touchdown record for the Steelers... anyhoo, it got me to thinking about what part of the map Eric Green fell off of... he was awesome ten or so years ago... after thinking about Green for a few seconds, i figured that maybe this would be a neat lil thread for the sports forum... so... im starting with Eric Green... where the hell is he now and whatever happened to him?...

maybe we can come up with some players of yesteryear and figure out, where are they? what the hell happened to them? etc... I dont really care what happened to Green, but he is what got me thinking about the "where are they now thread"... so where is Green (or what happened to him?), and then let's move onto someone else

Ricky Williams is lucky we're not talking about him in this thread.

Whatever happened to Keith Elias? I used to go to Princeton football games all in the time in the mid-90's, and he was the best running back they'd had in decades there (maybe ever, I don't remember). I remember he played a year or so with the Giants, but whatever happened to that guy?

And while we're on Giants running backs, how about Rodney Hampton? What the hell is he doing these days? He's probably the only Giant/Redskin/Eagle I owned a jersey of.

Oh, and if anybody wants to know what Boobie Miles is up to these days (of Friday Night Lights fame), he's an overweight, dead-beat drug dealer in an Odessa suburb. Just saving you the Google time, Cal ;)

Boobie! I feel bad for Boobie. He was more of a dick in the book than the movie though. I heard the writer gives Boobie money once in awhile cause he's got major financial problems.

I think I found Keith Elias. Last I found he was doing color commentary for Ivy League Football (back in 2003)

Keith Elias is back in the Ivy League, this time serving as color analyst for the YES Network’s Ivy League football package for the 2003 season.

Elias is simply one of the all-time greats in Ivy football. He not only holds every major rushing record at Princeton, where he starred from 1991 to 1993, he also claims some distinction in the League.

And a little bit on his NFL career...

In the NFL he was named player of the game 4 times with the Giants and 1 times with the Colts. He was the 1997 Unsung Hero with the NY Giants. He was also the Special Teams Captain with the Colts in 2000. Elias capped his career in 2001 as a running back for the NJ/NY Hitmen of the XFL.

Here's a good one...where the fuck is Maurice Clarett???

Eric Green had a couple strong years as the Dolphins TE after being with the Steelers.

This is going to sound ridiculous but it is completely true.

Rashaan Salaam promotes martial arts events in China.

Now for another Bears running back flop.

Curtis Enis works the night shift at a garage door factory in Ohio.

This was in the Chicago Tribune.

i'm pretty sure rashaan salaam was in that WWF football league for a while, maybe. and i think he tried out for a couple nfl teams this year.

i'll also add that curtis enis should really be referred to as curtis (p)enis

And if anybody else is curious about one of the biggest busts in NFL history, Blair Thomas is currently the running backs coach at Temple.

not sure about Hampton, but I'm pretty sure Joe Morris works for the leauge as one of the guys who goes to games each week and makes sure players conform to the rules regarding uniforms (socks, jerseys, etc.).
