Who else got this? What do you think?
I've already watched the extras for the first film and I think it's great stuff. Interesting to know that Sean Young was supposed to be Vicki Vale before a horse accident stopped that.

That's not necessary Doctor: everyone knows that part two onwards is horrible.
That's right: part two completely f'ed up Penguin. The Animated Series did a much better job of representing him.

I'd like to get this eventually. I might just go for the first three, since Batman and Robin is a movie I will not pay money for. I wonder what the commentary (if any) on that flick is about. Probably a bunch of people defending their "creative" decisions.

Nope, from what I've read, Schumacher is pretty candid about how much 3 and 4 suck. Though, he doesn't exactly use the word "suck," I think he acknowledges that his decisions weren't the best.
Still, I'll stick with the first two and not waste money on 3 and 4.

That is what I loved about the Alien Quadrilogy DVD set. There is a huge documentary on there with just about everyone involved talking about how they fucked up Alien 3. It was still a halfway decent movie, but it really destroyed the series.
I am tempted to pick up the Batman deal, because I still love the first one, and enjoyed the second and third, despite the fact that they were both complete messes. The fourth one just made me angry.

And they still took an assload of the negative stuff out of that documentary.
