Whoooo! Great match, great result.

I was amazed at how confident and free Ismaël Aissati was playing. The guy just turned 17 and was running circles around Maldini while keeping Pirlo under complete control. Mark my words: this kid is going to grow into one of the greatest mid-fielders in Europe.

The only PSV players that disappointed were Reiziger (who's positional play and passes were sub-par) and Addo, who is a fucking liability and should under no condition be allowed to play.

Philip Cocu once again proved that he is by far, by FAR, the most valuable dutch football player and both flanks were expertly controlled by DaMarcus Beasley (yes, a yank) and Farfan.

Maldini isn't exactly at the peak of his powers anymore... but yeah, impressive for a 17 year old. Is he Dutch?

Farfán had the strongest presence, I'll agree to that, but I don't think he was the best player of the game. An offensive player like Farfán plays by the grace of the midfielders behind him (in this case Aissati, Affelay and Cocu). Their positional play and pressure created freedom for Farfán to be dangerous to Milan. He played an excellent match and worked fiercely. PSV likes to attack over the flanks (as opposed to Milan, which attacks solely through it's strikers) and he did this excellently yesterday.

So I'd say that the best-of-match would have to be either Aissati, Affelay or Cocu.

Yip, congrats to PSV. They played really well and carried on from where they left off last year really. What I think is more special about it is that they lost so many of last years players in the summer, so I think that makes what they are doing this season even more special.

Park to Man Utd, Van Bommel to Barca, Bouma to Villa, and the left back too (sorry I forget his name). The sad thing for PSV fans is that the same thing will probably happen against next year

As an Ajax season ticket holder, I only wish Ajax would perform in the same way
