Post subject: I went to the Ellen Degeneres show today....

apparently she tapes two shows a day. we were at the second. she gave away Tivo with a year's free subscription and the new rollling stones cd to the first show (which airs 11/4). i got to watch pamela anderson act like a complete crackhead and the one and only doogie houser juggle swords. it was so lame. i walked away with a god damn harry potter game and a free cold pizza from California Pizza Kitchen. let's not forget the show taped at 6:30pm and i'd been there since noon (freezing my ass off) because it's first come, first serve for seats in the audience.
i love the ellen show but after that bullshit (and i applied for tickets back in july)...it just completely sucked....i won't do that shit again. ever.

She is one of the funniest people in show business, male or female. You'd be surprised how much writing she is involved in, for many different shows. She's constantly got a couple of projects going on in New York at any given time, but a lot of the time she's behind the scenes.

Sarah Silverman is funny.
Old' Pre Tuna Ellen is also very funny for "clean" humor. Its almost a shame that she has become a "lesbian comic". Like most comics, she was much funnier when she had inner turmoil.

sarah silverman is part of my all-time pantheon of greats for her role in the film the way of the gun.
