The season is only like a month old. And that move wasn't really all that great.

Buffalo's Max Afinogenov has had about 3 plays better than that in his career.

the play where the kid picks up the puck on his stick and pretty much lifts and throws the puck into the goal from behind the net is the best hockey play i have ever seen.. i think it was a college kid that did it... saw it on sportscenter

Great move, but fairly pedestrian too. Sorry I don't have an animated GIF database of dekes.

At least we are comparing this move with other great moves of the PAST!!!

My bias has nothing to do with the fact that this was the move of the year (so far)...

I ain't calling this the move of all time, just the move of the year.

Sens rule. leafs suck.

Afinogenov had a better move in the preseason. So did Vanek, for that matter, on a shootout goal. I'll see if I can find a gif.

Someone did it a long time ago... Sidney Crosby did it last year... or maybe the year before... with Rimouski of the QMJHL. (If you haven't heard of Sidney Crosby... I won't bother.)

What I was saying is that even if it was the best move of the year (and Sid the Kid might have something to say about that), they've only been playing for a month. It isn't that great of an accomplishment.

Steve Sullivan... one of the first games of the year, deked out about 800 guys in the corner, sent it through the crease for the goal.

Better than Spezza's. I'll find it somewhere.

Le voila. Opening night against SJ. Click on the one for October 5th.

Incorrect, it was still the regionals. I saw it first hand at Munn Ice Arena. Against the Gophers I believe. I still remember the stunned silence as everyone tried to process what just happened. Most amazing sports move I've witnessed.

damn you. looks like the memory is slipping a little. still not bad considering it was almost 10 years ago.

Well, I can never remember Legg's name. I always think Blake Sloan for some reason.

Welcome to two weeks ago. Sens fans are getting even more annoying than Leafs fans, and I didn't think that was possible.

Sidney Crosby's name should be easier to remember.
