INDY 4- Remember a while back when Rick McCallum said that the script for Indy 4 was virutally finished? Well, that doesn't seem to be so. Spielberg said last night that George Lucas is still working on the script with another writer and that Spielberg and Harrison Ford don't really know what is being done to the script.

JURASSIC PARK 4- Spielberg commented on a scene in The Lost World novel that was not included in the movie involving characters on motorcycles outrunning raptors and regretted it not being in The Lost World movie. However, he also said that "that scene IS in Jurassic Park 4."

THE PACIFIC- Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg are working together on a new HBO miniseries set during World War II, but this time around, it's going to be about the war in the Pacific.

I knew we were being lied to. Last Crusade was the perfect end to the series; Indy 4 can be nothing but disappointment.

I LOVE Jurassice Park. Great book, great film. Lost World was a good sequel, bookwise, but a piss poor movie. And JP3 was only good for the actiony stuff. Unless JP4 has some serious dino carnage, I'll be let down. Again.

These two can do no wrong together. I look forward to seeing this.[/quote]

Oh Crap, a George Lucas script? The only person who could make Ewan McGregor look like a horrific actor in that cheese-ball of a film Star Wars 3. Indy 4 will be a tragedy... Eek...

But Band Of Brothers 2, that sounds awesome... I agree with Stuzzo, Hanks and Speilberg can do no wrong together

Band of Brothers was the best mini-series i've ever seen. I have them all on VCD and still watch them to this day. I'm a sucker for a good WWII epic.

I bought Band of Brothers on dvd early in 2004. I love it still and watch it all the time. This news on another series focused on WWII Pacific is very interesting.

Indy 4 sounds interesting too. All three were really good movies. I would kinda like a fourth to be made, I'm just worried it would be butchered somehow though.

I think they missed the boat on that one. Ford is too old, and I don't wanna see a crappy "passing of the torch" movie with some young teen star as the "next Indy."

That's my worry. They needed to make Indy 4 sometime in the early to mid-90s for it to have worked. It's much too late.

I can't believe Last Crusade was over 15yrs ago.

I agree. It's almost been to long, 15 years  and I don't want to see a "torch" being passed onto another actor. That would really be dreadful.

So, is the rumor that JP4 is going to be some gonzo dino slasher flick still true?

I too would like to know how they're going to get Indy 4 to work. It would seem cliche if Indy found out he has a son.

the movie was nearly worthless after reading the book, it was an ok movie but the book was awesome, and the whole ending with the T-Rex comming back to the US was made for the movie, in the book there were like 5 people total on the island and it ended with them finding a boat and getting away.

the jp3 wasnt bad, probably as good as i would have liked jp2 if i hadnt read the book.

and weather its good or not i will definatly be looking forward to jp4, but i hope for some more new dinos.

Marshall On Bourne 3, Indy 4 & JP4
Posted: Monday January 9th, 2006 11:45pm
Source: IESB.Net
Author: Garth Franklin

"Frank Marshall confirmed to IESB this past week that "The Bourne Ultimatum", the third film in the Jason Bourne spy film franchise, will begin shooting on August 1st.

Whilst the plot will have no relation to the Robert Ludlum book of the same name ("The Bourne Supremacy" had no relation either), Marshall's only hint of the storyline? "There may be a relationship starting up between Julia Stiles' character and Matt Damon".

He also confirmed that expected "Indiana Jones" will happen immediately after "Bourne Ultimatum", and once Indy is done then will come a fourth "Jurassic Park".
