An interesting side note for anyone who likes the "It's a Wonderful Life" movie. When it was first released, everyone HATED it. It was a bomb and considered a cheesey, hokey holiday film. It was so bad, that the film company didnt even bother renewing the rights to the film. And that is why it became a TV staple played over and over and over around the holidays, because it was basically free for anyone to broadcast.

Anyway, my favorite holiday film...

Are you sure it was so poorly received? It was nominated for Oscars for best picture, director, actor, editing, and sound. Capra won the Golden Globe for best director.

I'm with ya. I love that movie and watch it at least once every December. A close second would be the animated Grinch, but I don't know if you can call 30 minutes a movie.
