The time is now! I promised another round in the beginning of December, and here it is. This is the thread for everything Mixtapes related, and as tradition, here are the rules (slightly revised from last time)

1.) Quite simply, we trade mixtapes. And I stress the word tapes. Now, as has become apparent from previous rounds, not everyone has the equipment to make an actual tape, so if you must, a CD (while infinitely inferior) will be accepted.

2.) Your tape should include music that not everyone has heard, try to avoid Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, etc. However, this is not the "indie-er than thou" game, either. Really you can include anything you like, just keep in mind, you're trying to introduce your partner to new and different music.
2a.) If you have a last.fm account, post the link. Your partner can take a look at it and get a feel for what you listen to.

3.) Do NOT include a tracklisting with your tape. Once you recieve your own tape, you will post a track-by-track review in this here thread. Once the review has been posted, your partner will reveal the tracklisting. It's all part of the fun, and it forces you to keep an open mind. No one will be biased into something like "Well I don't like this band, I know I won't like this song"

4.) If you do a tape, it should have two sides. You can do an all encompassing theme, make two distinct sides, whatever you like. Keep it interesting for your partner.

5.) You will trade mailing information with your partner via PM's, and you'll mail it to him/her on the send out date.

I can join, BUT, the 19th is uber hard for me. school is raping up until the 17th, I'll have little to no free time. If I do it, I'll probably do cd.
