Can't remember at the moment for sure...but if the Even Flow re-record is on LD, then I have to disagree w/ you.

No, the "Drifiting" from Lost Dogs is much better than the original version. Ed actually sings the words in the newer version as opposed to reciting them.

It seems like I've run across more than one Pre-LD version of "Alone." The one that I think everybody knows is on the single for "Go." The one whose origin I can't seem to figure out (or locate on my hard drive at the moment) has Eddie finishing the song in a capella. It isn't a live version, that much I know. Maybe a demo? Any help here?

the LD version blows. they took out the last lines about finding a new love which completely made the song great.

the old version ends with hope and the new version ends with the guy probably killing himself over som chick :?

I have Hallucinogenic Recipe boxset and it ends with the a capella ending. That version is my favorite.

They're all good. Probalby the go single version is better. I like the heavier music in the lost dogs alone but there is too much lyrical stuff cut to make it better

I agree here, the guitars and drums kick serious ass in this version, but the vocals kick serious ass in the go b-side version

I enjoy the LD one a lot, but my nod is for the Go version, just because of the "i can't help my self don't talk to me." line. I could be mistaken, but was that line resurrected in 05?
