OK.... let me start by saying I have been frustrated by this team this year just as much as the guy next to me. But for some reason i feel confident going into the playoffs (not as much as the previous years, but i feel confident). I thank a week division this year, but they SHOULD win out right now and go 11-5. Every game from here on out will be a battle, but this team will not lay down and die. Obviously the Colts are the favorite to take it home.... I can only hope the Pats have their chance to take them down.
AS ALWAYS..... ELI will win it all before PEYTON does.....

I agree that they will make the playoffs.
Patriots (7-5): The Pats are 3-0 in the AFC East and three of their last four games are against division rivals. This bodes extremely well for the defending Super Bowl Champs. Coming off of those games, look for New England to roll into the post season with momentum on their side. There are a couple of reasons for concern. The Pats have only had one 100 yard rusher in a game this season (Corey Dillon had 106 in week five), and Defensive struggles have the Pats allowing an AFC high 386 yards per game.

The Pats are in the very odd position of being able to clinch the division next week at 8-5 if they beat the Bills and the Dolphins lose to the Chargers (which could definitely happen). I wonder how they'd treat the last three games if that happened?
I just read a playoff prediction that had NE at 9-7 in the playoffs and KC at 10-6 and missing them. I also had a prediction at the beginning of the season that at least one AFC team would go 10-6 and miss the playoffs. Looks like it's going to happen.

Both are very likely scenerios. I think NE might win 10 however...

in no way am i bitching........ i'm just saying i'm confident (as i can be). most people who aren't drunk see this team as a joke. i just see this team getting down to business in the playoffs and making a run that's all. shit the last 4 years of my sport fan life have been as pretty much good as it can get. going into college i thought i would never see a championship......... then i got spoiled. i'll never forget the first super bowl win, i cried my eyes out because i never thought i would see it (a boston championship). then a few super bowl wins later and a world series (i won't get into that) i'm spoiled.

The problem with the Patriots is that they have no defense, and their offense is one dimensional with dillon being injured all the time. They only scored 16 against the Jets at home for goodness sake.

I definitely think we're good enough to go deep into the playoffs, I can see us making it back to the AFC Championship game with some luck and no more injuries.
If we clinch on Sunday we'll have 3 weeks to rest the necessary people so we're fresh for the playoffs.
We obviously aren't going to make it to Detroit, but we have 1 or 2 more playoff wins in us I believe.

Sounds like the Bills may have a revolt after Moulds was suspended.

You're 20 years old and you have never heard of a person refer to their team as 'we' or 'us?
