I'll definately see this; it has potential.

It seems like there are a bunch of movies coming out now that deal with the middle east: Syriana, Munich, Paradise Now, and another one that i saw an ad for on iFilm that i can't remember the name of. Anyone else notice this?

Looks really good. It's gonna have to take the backseat to King Kong, though.

Clooney's track record of late makes it all the more amazing he agreed to be in Batman & Robin.

This movie really slipped under the radar because it's only a few weeks until the release and i'm just now finding out about it. you'd think that a movie with damon and clooney would get more attention that it has been.

I went and saw this last night. Opening night and there were only 8 people in the theater, but hey, I'm from a "flyover state". Hopefully more people will go see this though, it's good filmmaking. I'll post more about it later. Anyone else bothered to check this out over Narnia this weekend?

Great flick. Felt a lot like Traffic but instead of drugs, oil. Which makes sense of course. I love movies that are filmed in the this manner using audio in and out to make certain things scenes more important. The choreography felt a lot like Mann. The editing was spectacular. I wish they would have gone more into the upcomming energy crisis. Damon had a couple lines one that really stood out it went something like "...they want to come in here deplete all your natural resources before you realize what they are doing..." It had a lot of great acting. Chris Cooper was a great in his part. It was great because like Traffic it showed the underlying motives and tactics used to pass blame and move accountablility away from those responsible. 9 outta 10 starts. Highly reccomend everyone check it out.

I wish I'd spent my 9 bucks on this instead of Narnia.

But both were a thousand times better than "Batman & Robin." And I thought "Intolerable Cruelty" was actually very funny in an offbeat way.

I guess I was thinking of these two in particular:

Confessions of a Dangerous Mind
Good Night, and Good Luck

i loved both of these movies..ocean's twelve just for being completely tongue in cheek...and the coen's quirkiness added to a romantic comedy(a genre i hate with a passion) was great to me

I'm not sure what to make of Ocean's 12. The director of photography should be shot; Julia Roberts looked ugly, and it didn't take place in Vegas. I think I still kind of liked it, though.

saw the movie earlier this evening, I enjoyed it. I only have one issue with the film and that's the torture scene, it was a bit rough. I really like the character development I thought the older brother of the arab king was well done.
