Thanks! The light in that first shot was just amazing! I had to cut a strip off the bottom, cause there were some building materials stacked there. Fortunately it also improved the composition a lot.

Those are really nice! Good use of the rule of thirds . I need to get my camera out one of these days, it's been a while since i've taken any pictures.

I love the A70 as a starters camera (it was for me). It has great features and image quality, but with very weird lighting conditions it's possible to send the CCD completely bonkers:
Hellloooo, artefacts!
In it's defense: I doubt if many digital cameras would have been able to handle that light intensity and contrast.
