Seeing as I'm currently feeling very nostalgic, I thought I'd ask you what was your first computer game system and what was your favourite game for it?

My first computer was a Commodore 64 (with the fucking cassette tape-deck which failed to load after an hour of trying to do so) and my favourite game was the frankly awesome Gauntlet.

I also seem to remember having a Ghostbusters game for it which was pretty good...

First system: Famicom (Japanese Nintendo). Little did I know I'd have to ditch it when we came back (even with an adapter for US outlets, it never played right with our voltage). My first game was the Mario/Duck Hunt game that came with the system.

Colecovision - Pole Position. It came with a steering wheel, gas pedal, and shifter. It was like being at the arcade. I wish I still had it.

I burned my RC Pro Am out. Everytime I tried to play it within the past 8-10yrs it would freeze up or the screen would go wacky. Loved that game.

recently i won an employee of the month type thing at my work... and there was a $50 prize that could be used at any number of obscure online stores. Anyways, I decided on a nintendo emulation-type system... and it plays all my old games with game genie with no blowing in it or anything...

most of which are awesome on 52 inches of widescreen glory.

I recently downloaded a game called Archon. If you like Chess and RPGs, I'd advise you to check it out

Well, I was a huge Sonic 3 fan, but my parents were reluctant to get me a video game system so I only played it at my friends' houses.

My first system was N64 and favorite game was Goldeneye.

On a slightly related note, does anyone remember the Sega Channel for Genesis? It was like this adapter thing that I think you plugged into a cable outlet and you could play some games for free, and they changed every month. It was like real early internet gaming (although there was no multiplayer). That thing was way ahead of its time.

I'm afraid I don't... perhaps Europe didn't get this device? :?

That night mission was awesome; and I could never beat level 8 in the mountains.
