Still not an answer. I didn't realize asking you to explain your remark would be such an issue. Seriously, why create this thread in which all you did was point us to yet another thread in lieu of an actual response? Why not simply bump both of the Yankees sucks threads instead?

Here is one more reason the Yankees suck. Their inflated payroll is making the organization loose money for the past couple years, and could total up to $85 million. Not to mention they undervalued their revenue from the YES network and will probably end up forking over another $20 million.
Despite drawing more than four million fans, the Yankees lost between $50 million and $85 million for the 2005 season, several Major League Baseball sources told the Daily News. The benefactors of baseball, who pumped more than $200 million into their payroll and almost $110 million into revenue sharing and luxury tax, are deep in the red this year.

their attempt to "cut payroll" is more of a change in organizational philosophy than a financially motivated decision. And they raise ticket prices just about every year...

the top seat is going from $90 to $110. That is a pretty big jump.
