Hey Jamily Members!
The Child's Play Charity site is up and running again for this holiday season. If you don't know what that is, or are interested in participating, here's the link for more information!

Even though this charity is only going into its third year, it's my favorite. Being a kid in a hospital is never a good experience, so any way to make it less stressful is a good thing.

On a sidenote, the PA guys are a class act.
Hey Patrick, I beleive we met in Calgary! At the Ship and Anchor! Nice to see ya!
I agree, this is a fantastic charity going into it's 3rd year. Over the past 2 years, they have raised over a million dallars worth of toys and games for childrens hospitals all over the country, and this year it looks like they are going global. Nice.

Indeed, that was me. It's nice to know I can put faces to interweb names.

Yah, apparently they've raised 25k in a week (but I'm sure that's higher as it prolly doesn't update in real time). Still, that's pretty impressive. The cool thing is that it's amazingly easy to donate something, and there are so many items to choose from for people on any budget. So you don't have to buy a $50 game. You could spend $10 on some books or an art set. It's crazy easy.
TCU sure put a beatin' on the Cowboys this year. Maybe next time...
Grah. The Cowboys are doing their best to be mediocre and break my heart this year. Dammit.
As for the charity, seriously guys, check it out. I think this is something that board members here, and Jamily members everywhere, could get behind. And, there's an itme for any budget, just like Patrick said. Give it a look, it'll make ya feel good about yourself.
And no, I'm not directly involved with it in any way, I just think it's a really cool idea.

I'm doing allright, Murph. I dunno if beating is the proper word, but it was a win, especially with how inconsistent TCU started the season:) Stupid loss to SMU. Now, if MWC could negotiate some better bowls...
On topic... the Child's Play site has banners and flyer printouts. I think I'll have to see what our company policy is on this kind of stuff to see if I can post a flyer up.
