I just got a copy of this from a friend. Which songs are particularly noteworthy?

2. The Day The World Went Away
3. The Frail
4. The Wretched
5. We're In This Together
6. The Fragile
7. Just Like You Imagined
8. Even Deeper
9. Pilgrimage
10. No, You Don't
11. La Mer
12. The Great Below
1. The Way Out Is Through
2. Into The Void
3. Where Is Everybody?
4. The Mark Has Been Made
5. Please
6. Starfuckers, Inc.
7. Complication
8. I'm Looking Forward To Joining You,
9. The Big Come Down
10. Underneath It All
11. Ripe (With Decay)
Seriously though, the album kicks ass. Its by far my favorite NIN, but it took a little while to completely grow on me. My favorite tracks are The Frail/The Wretched combo and The Great Below. But there isn't a bad track on the album.

Easily my favorite NIN album. Fav tracks include....all of them. Mike got it right the first time!
Seriously though, I'm partial to Just Like You Imagined, Even Deeper, though those tracks took a while to grow on me first.

Seriously. Listen to it and decide for yourself what songs are noteworthy.

If you can find the torrent, get the vinyl rip, put Ripe (with Decay) [which is the "exclusive" track on the CD] at the end, replace "Please" with "Please (+ Appendage)" [the exclusive track from the cassette] and keep Ten Miles High and The New Flesh in their respective spots [the exclusive tracks for the vinyl].
Plus, TDTWWA and La Mer are extended, Pilgrimage has a different intro and there are a few other little differences on the vinyl. It's the best version of the album.

Okay thanks--I'll give it a listen tomorrow
Usually there are a few songs I love on each NIN album but I can't really make it through any of them enitrely except for Broken (and does that even count). Maybe this one will be different

This album took longer to grow on me than any NIN album, but once it hit me, it became my favorite NIN album. I think it's his best work (and I absolutely loved With Teeth and TDS).
This to me is an album though. I'll only listen to it if I have time to listen to it all, where with other NIN albums I can just play whatever song I feel like. This album flows as well as any.

I couldn't agree more. While I can and do often just select songs, I prefer listening to it all the way through because every song is as important in the story as the last.
