I just finished watching "Mean Girls" and I thought it was clever, way better than many other "teen" flicks. Tina Fey is pretty good in the flick, as is Lindsey Lohan. I'd give it 7/10.

Elephant.. it was a disturbing movie. I loved the way it was shot, though. 8/10

My review for "The Incredibles" from Yahoo! Movies:

Pixar Is Getting Stale

Okay, Pixar has always, for the most part, put out good films. Both "Toy Story" films were excellent, so was "A Bug's Life" and "Monsters Inc.", they were fun, fresh, and a joy to look at.
But recently, Pixar has seemed to be losing their touch. I'm getting very tired of the way critics and everyone else just eat up every generic thing Pixar shovels out these days. For instance, "Finding Nemo" was one of the worst, most boring films I have ever seen, yet everyone seemed to love it.
"The Incredibles" is certainly several steps up from "Finding Nemo", but is nowhere near the likes of "Toy Story" or "Monsters Inc.".
I've never really found Pixar films to be funny, just fun, but "The Incredibles" really takes the unfunny-ness to a new level. I didn't laugh once throughout the film.
It felt very rushed and chaotic. It didn't get you involved with so many quirky characters like they used to, they just throw you into a sea of chaos and explosions.

Pixar is losing their charm. Where are the "Toy Story"s? The "A Bug's Life"s? The "Monsters Inc."s?
I want the old Pixar back.

Grade: B

The Incredibles was the last movie I saw in a theatre, and it was a good family movie. All of the good characters had courage when they didn't think they had, and it was just a lot of fun.

The last movie I saw at home was Scrooged. Carol Kane steals the movie, and I could watch it in July just for her scenes.

The last movie I saw was the Bridget Jones one that just came out, it is similar to the first one, but not as good. A lot of the jokes are almost the same and the two guys fight over Bridget again. I liked the first one but I didn't like this one near as much. I'd give it a C.

I recently saw "The Buttterfly Effect" i found it to be a great movie, despite being quite pychologically harming at times i would give it 9/10, but yesterday i saw "Aliens" it was like the best movie ever 10/10 not for everyone though. The marines in that movie are the coolest

I saw this recently...it was a slow paced, but powerful movie. I agree with your 8/10.

Elf.. Will Ferrell isn't funny enough to have his own movies. D+, only because one part really made me laugh. Stick to the short improvs, Will.

Liked it quite a bit. It's a good popcorn flick. You have to take the whole realistic part of your brain and put it on hold because the story is a bit over the top, but it was a fun ride and when I go to the movies I want to be entertained. In that capacity it did the job, a solid B to B+

Just came back from seeing Finding Neverland. I thought it was very good. 8/10, maybe. Johnny Depp gives a strong performance, so does Kate Winslet. I really enjoyed it.

National Treasure.

I thought it was pretty good. There are few things here and there that I didn't think would work or were feasible. but overall I liked it.

Kill Bill (1)

I finally got to see this yawner. I don't know what all the hoopla was about. For real... Q.T. movies are usually known for their colorful characters and interesting dialog. Kill Bill had neither of these..just alot of blood, guts, limbs, heads and whatnot. Uma's character is so monocromatic and dull... all she is interested in is revenge, although we aren't shown the circumstances to which she was originally targeted (I guess that's in Pt. 2?). All the other characters were in short lived parts... killed off by The Bride before any sort of interest was allowed to develope. The one scene that looked cool in the trailer, with the old dude balancing on her sword, was completely missing from the movie.

3 out of 10
