its tough, cause most of these people check their fantasy magazines and what not, and i just go, wow-wee....he looks good.

the lady i beat in the second round ( i had a bye in the first round with the best record, 10-3) usually whoops my ass year in and year out, she always finds a hidden gem in the draft that makes everyone wonder wtf is she doing, but then they average 10-15 pts a game.

our league is through fanball.com with points for positions players as follows

qb

20 yds passing = 1 pt
passing td = 4 pts
int = -2
two point conversion = 2 pts

rb and wr

10 yds = 1 pt
td = 6
two point conversion = 2 pts
fumble = -1

pk

fg = 3 pts
xp = 1 pt
bonus points for 40-49 = +1
bonus points for 50-55 = +2
bonus points for 55+ = +3

then special teams include punt return td and kickoff returns

td = 6
sack = +2
int = +2
saftey= + 2
shutout = +10

we get no points per carry, reception or pass completion. its usually very competitive year in and year out with the playoffs being close (10 pts differential)

this is really the only league i care about since i have been in it the longest, any other league i do is for pure shits and giggles

just bragging rights and 2 free teams on the site

I drafted Ahman Green in the 2nd round of my draft. I finished 2nd in my league though, so it wasn't all bad.

I think I had him in the 2nd in both RM leagues, I picked up Droughns in one of them and he was good yardage-wise but never got in the endzone.

After going to the finals and losing last year I didn't even make the playoffs this year, despite coming in 2nd in total points. Unfortunatly for me, we had two divisions and I was in the much stronger one. At least I made my money back for 2nd in points.

S Alexander carried me but I was pretty injury free and had great WR's like Fitzgerald, Gates (TE) and C Johnson. D Davis was a little bit of a disappointment.

after finishing the regular season in last place i have made it to the championship game against the team that finished in second to last. Should be a good battle.

I drafted Jamal Lewis, Randy Moss and Andre Johnson with my first three picks, then with my fourth and fifth picks I drafted Tatum Bell and Mark Bulger. Needless to say, I finished 4-10 and 10th in total points out of 12 teams. Oh well, that is just the way the cookie crumbles in fantasy football. Going into the season, I thought I was a lock for the playoffs.

Yeah, i dont know why it was set up that way, but oh well. I guess it evens out with both teams, but it would be better to be at full strength.
