Ok, if RM Po-po doesn't shut this thread down and link to where it's already been done then post up your top 5 or 10 movies of the year.

Top 10 Best (in order):
1. The Devil's Rejects
2. Sin City
3. Broken Flowers
4. King Kong
5. Star Wars: Episode III: Revenge of the Sith
6. Land of the Dead
7. Walk The Line
8. Jarhead
9. The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy
10. Cinderella Man

But I have not yet seen Good Night, and Good Luck, Munich, Syriana, or Wolf Creek - all of which I could see breaking into that list.

On the flipside, top 3 worst (in order):
3. Batman Begins
2. Robots
1. Man With The Screaming Brain

'Course, I didn't watch crap Deuce Bigalow, though...

Rob Zombie movie, pseudo-sequel to House of 1000 Corpses.

In no particular order:
Harry Potter IV
Munich
Batman Begins
King Kong

I still have yet to see Syriana, Good Night & Good Luck, and Sin City, but that'd probably go on my list, based on what I've heard.

Those are about the only movies I'd consider "good" in 2005.

Ok, I guess we didn't do this thread already then.

1. Sin City
2. The Devil's Rejects
3. Batman Begins
4. Jarhead
5. Land of the Dead
6. Revenge of the Sith
7. Walk the Line
8. Good Night, and Good Luck
9. King Kong
10. Serenity

There's still quite a few I need to see, A History of Violence and Wolf Creek for sure. Also, Syrianna needs a second viewing before I give a final verdict on it. Overall, I'd say not a bad year for movies, considering I didn't see much that I thought was total crap, and the stuff I liked have the potential to become all time favorites for me. Sin City and Devil's Rejects alone would have made 2005 for me.

Really? The Ring 2? The first one was entertaining, but I was highly disappointed with the sequel. All I remember is endless shots of horses jumping off a cliff or drowning.

Haven't caught too many flicks this year, sadly. I'd list this as ones I've really enjoyed.

Harry Potter
Star Wars
ummmm...that's probably it. I really need to see some more flicks.

That was a very entertaining movie. It'd go on my Best of 2005 list but I think I've only seen six movies all year so it wouldn't be worth listing.

I haven't seen a lot of movies in 2005, but I don't think any movie will be more entertaining than "Sin City." Its the first comic book movie I've ever loved, and it thrilled me from the opening frame to the last. It surely won't be my favorite movie of 2005, but its the most fun I've had at the movies since I can't remember when.

It's not a movie, but I don't care. 24 beats everything ever created.

Ever.
