Today I got the following for about $50:

The Godfather
American History X
Raging Bull
Reservoir Dogs
Belly
2001: A Space Odyssey

I only paid about $15 because I returned the Miami Vice DVDs my brother got me. Plus I got some noise-canceling headphones.

HUZZAH!

 My brother "didn't know what to get me," so he was fine with the returns. He actually thought I'd be really excited about Miami Vice though.

Well, Don Johnson can be pretty exciting.

Those are some good movie purchases though. I really need to get 2001.

What in the hell is "Belly" doing with the rest of those movies?

You crackers can hate on Belly all you want, but it's a great movie with stunning visuals and a really good message, as well as an awesome performance from DMX and the rest of them niggaz. It's one of my favorite movies for sure.

I just got the Godfather Pt. I, it was only $7.50 so I nabbed it.

Obviously that was a little tongue in cheek, but it's still a great movie to just watch and enjoy, and it does indeed have a positive message. It's definitely not "horrible," and it's still better than Garden State.

i personally thought belly was a joke. so much so that i didnt even watch the whole thing. but not all of my favorite movies are necessarily great films.

i dont see how one can compare belly and garden state. :?
