If you're a registered member of RM, I can practically guarantee you will love this band (except if your name is King). Seriously.

They've got an early 90's rock vibe kinda, but so much more than that too. Maybe Trail of Dead meets Soundgarden. If this board allowed uploads of songs and such, I'd Yousendit all three of their albums because they're so awesome....well okay, Tournament of Hearts was a let down.

Everyone here should download/buy (if you can find it) their second album Shine A Light. I will tell you this right now: it will probably blow your face off. this is a must hear for any RMer. hell, I'm so confident in how awesome this band is I'll YSI Shine A Light for anyone who PM's me.

Could you upload a song or two by them to the RM gmail?

Go to gmail.com and login:

Username: RedMozi
Password: tradingpost

Send an email from that address to that address and attach the song. Then anyone can login and download the attachment, and it never expires like a YSI.

While you're at it, can you put the electric version of Talk Tonight that you were talking about in the DBTT thread up there too :D

Great band and great live. Would make a perfect opener for PJ.

I didn't think Tournament of Hearts was a let down. Soon enough is one of my favourite songs of the year.

But Shine A Light is exceptional.

"Soon Enough" just absolutely towers over the rest of the album.

I think the album is really solid. Took a little while for me to get into the whole thing but I love it now. Easily made my top 10 of 05.

The file crapped out on me but I managed to get the first song. It sounded pretty good, particularly the rhythm section.

Great band and it's even better that they're starting to get some recognition. The first time I heard of them was when I saw them in 02 at Michigan Fest and I was completely blown away. Great stuff.

i've seen them a few times around here in local places... the first few times i saw them (this was a while ago, probably at least 5 years, maybe 4 years ago) didn't think too much of them...
i got tournament of hearts and can't say i'm blown away or anything, but at the same time, it's not that bad...
i guess i should check out the shine a light album...

The Constantines listened to a lot more than just used store records, I can assure you of that. They weren't that hard up.
