Hey there all
I just downloaded A Jeff Buckley bootleg . It is the outtakes from his "Grace" album. In between two of the songs he makes fun of Eddie Vedder. Jeff says: "You will not hear Eddie Vedder doing this kinda shit" and then goes on to sing like Eddie Vedder. I love both Pearl Jam and Jeff Buckley, so I am a little troubled by Jeff comment, which I am sure was meant in good fun. Pearl jam must have been really big around the time he recorded "grace".
Just a little info for you all. Sorry if this has no interest for you.
Regards Tonny from Denmark

I wouldn't take it too seriously... probably just goofing around.

I heard a story recently that Jeff met EV backstage circa '95, and sang a version of "Indifference," and Ed was just blown away.

It has a tinge of a myth to it, but I've heard a couple times that Buckley and PJ's paths crossed, and I don't think there was animosity involved.

In another connection, Buckley and Ed both had/have a great affinity for Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.

They both knew Chris Cornell, so maybe they met sometime.

I do too, but I couldn't tell you who Jeff Buckley is.

The funniest was when Seth Putnam made fun of the singer from 311 in the AC song 311 Sucks.

He's relatively clean now, ever since the suicide attempt.

I seriously doubt Jeff Buckley had any beef with Ed. If he did, well, not much can be done about it now.

jeff would (in good fun) make comments about everyone on stage, it's not to be taken seriously. plus he was a fucking GENIUS and maybe the best vocalist of the time.

when the new album comes out how many threads do you think will be made about each and every song?

At least 100 threads dedicated to each song on the album. And at least 100 more threads about how much better the album would have been in they lost tracks A, B, and C and replaced them with B-sides X, Y, and Z.

you're on fire.

6 days after the debut of the album there will also be a Retracking thread where people will post what "should've" been the tracklist.
