warning: not the first song you'll hear past midnight, but the song you'll choose to put on and listen to on Jan 1st...

I think I'll wake up (whenever that will be :D) to the sound of Death Cab For Cutie's The New Year...

I know I won't feel any different...

I know of 3 New Year Songs in the title, I think we did this last year

U2-New Years Day
The Walkmen-New Years Eve
Death Cab For Cutie-The New Year

of the 3 I mentioned I fancy DCFC the best, infact heads and tails over the rest

Playing a song with the words "New Year" in it on New Years day is like...making a mix CD of Pearl Jam's greatest hits. You just aren't cool if you do it!

Probably Death Cab. Not just the title of the song, but because the situation is something I can kind of relate to.

Its a toss up (and really depends on what i do tonight)

But either Jimi Hendrix's New Years shows from Fillmore, or Elvis's Pittsburgh 1976 New Years Eve show.

Probably something I'm digging at the moment, nothing to do with new years. Like Paul Westerberg or something.
