I've only heard a few, but I would rank them in this order:

1. Transatlantic - All of the Above
2. Porcupine Tree - The Sky Moves Sideways
3. The Flower Kings - The Truth Will Set You Free
4. Dream Theater - Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence
5. Porcupine Tree - Moonloop

Is Pleasant Shade of Grey that good? I've heard mixed reviews.

Only one I know of is one live version of "Sister Ray" by the Velvet Underground on the Quine Tapes compilation. 38:00, to be exact. It's not as great as I thought it might be, and nothing tops the album version.

Sunn O)))'s "Libations Of Samhain" is pretty decent too. Same with Zappa's "Little House In Which I used To Live" (Or something to that effect)

I don't know many songs over 30 minutes, but I rank A Long Day by The Polyphonic Spree at the bottom. What a worthless track.

The last track, number 10, on The Beginning Stages of.... It's not even really a song, it's 36 minutes of a this midi human voice sound or some shit, playing one or two notes at a time, changing very slowly. It's horrible, don't listen to it.

I wasn't planning on it, but Jesus. They're the last band on the planet that should have 30 minute song.

If I ever go see them in concert, I am going to take a sharp, heavy object with me, so that if I even think they are about to try to play that song, I can throw it at the main guy and knock him unconcious/break his skull.

Seriously though, I can totally see a 30 minute song by them, like a composition, since they have so many singers. If the guy writing the songs didn't totally fucking suck, he probably could have put together a pretty nice little choir/symphonic/ultra-happy neo-hippy flower dancing song, or something. I have no idea what I just said, but I know what I mean.
