When I go to Hotmail, it's making me permenently signed in! My brother can (and will) fuck with my email if he uses Firefox! Does anyone know how to stop it from doing this? I never clicked any box to make it do this, I'm always careful about that.

You have two options.
Option 1:
Go to the Tools menu, then Options. Click the Privacy button on the left. Now in the big box on the right you should see an entry for Saved Passwords. Click the + symbol beside that, which should expand the menu. It should have a line that says "Saved Passwords" and there should be a box on the right part of this line that says "View Saved Passwords...". Click on that box and it will show you all of your passwords that Firefox has saved. Click the one for Hotmail and then click the Remove button. Go back to Hotmail and when FF pops up the window asking you if you want to save that password, choose the one "never for this site" and you should be all set. It should always ask you for your username and/or password after that
If you have a little bro that is doing what most little brothers do to their sisters it might be smart to not save any passwords on any sites.
Option 2:
Kill your brother

Okay thanks. I've now checked that, and it hasn't saved my password for any sites. I'm guessing when i close the window it'll go away.
Option 2 is tempting though.

Me too, I think it was a Laura problem not a Firefox problem.

Well, maybe this isn't my fault after all... it's still doing it! I've checked the box so it doesn't remember passwords, so hopefully it'll sort itself out.. it doesn't do this for any other site.

I have decided that signing out whenever I use hotmail should fix this problem....

As was mentioned before, are you logging out? If you leave the site without logging out and come back a short time later, your session will still be open.
