The Broncos are no joke. I'm wicked skeptical about this game, plus it's an away game.

I'm praying for Pats winning due to the fact that the Broncos played some crappy ass teams this season, and lost to miami, giants, and KC.

Ok I changed my mind, I think we got this one. :P

i hate to be captain obvious, but the pats shutting down the run game is the number one key in this game.

Aw, I don't get to start this thread. :( Oh well.

It's going to be one tight game. Whoever wins the battle in the trenches wins the game, and it won't be easy for either team to do.

i see denver being to new england what pittsburgh was last year, meaning despite an embarrassing regular season lost the pats go on the road in the playoffs and show that they really are the better team when it matters most.

Looking at it right now, I think New England might have them. The biggest problems with the Patriots when the Bronocos beat them in Week 6 was the run defense, secondary, offensive line and running game (aside from that we were tits though ;)). Since then the run defense is vastly improved, we have our top 2 RBs back, the offensive line has had time to gel and the rookies on the line have gotten some seasoning, and the secondary is better (though still not good). Throw in a much better pass rush and that should be enough to close the gap and win the game. I think.

I really want the Broncos to win this one. I've always liked them. But I do think the Pats will win.

I will be rooting for the Broncos on gameday however.

Despite who wins, it should be one hell of a game. I'd like to see the Broncos pull it off, but I respect New England and their organization so if they win, good for them. I don't even hold a grudge that they beat the Eagles in the big game last year.

i'm just glad that pitt won...now they have a chance to take down indy (fat chance to be sure) before the pats get to them.

and i think the patriots will beat the broncos handily, with a lot of help from adam.

I believe the broncs opponents this year had a pretty impressive won/lost record....

the only AFC West opponent the Pats were able to beat this year was Oakland. Denver, KC and San Diego all killed them. Timing is everything, the following players did not participate in the Pats/Broncos regular season game:

Richard Seymour
Tedy Bruschi
Daniel Graham
Troy Brown
Corey Dillon
Kevin Faulk

the following players started

Heath Evans
Amos Zeroue
Duane Starks

The Pats defense has obviously improved quite a bit since then, but Denver is a much tougher team than anybody the Pats
have beaten on this recent hot streak. Should be interesting....

only reason I would give Denver a chance is that they're at home....but I have a feeling Plummer will have a poor game and the Pats will win it.
