Anyone ever put in a new 72 pin conncetor in their NES? i was thinking of getting one, and making a project out of it. I heard it makes the NES play like new again, anyone have luck with one?

I put one in, and I'll give you the scoop.
A. It definitely works better than before, but certain games you still have to wiggle around just right to get them on. However, this is only with games that I couldn't get to work at all with the original connector.
B. The games fit REALLY tightly in the sumbitch. Like, tight enough that you have to wiggle the game while you're pulling it to get it out. Hey, that sounds like jerking off!
So, there you have it. It's definitely an improvement over the original one, and they're pretty cheap on ebay.
