You know...watching the game...he brought more to the table than any running back since Emmitt in his prime has brought. At least the Cowboys know that he can weather having 63 carries in two games 5 days apart. That is a good sign.

But, I don't want to get overly excited just yet. If he can continue to produce for the rest of the season like he did against the bears, then it looks like the Cowboys might have found them a great replacement at running back. And, if he does work out, trading down in the draft and ending up with the bills first rounder in 05 is going to look absolutely genius.

Henson looked back, but then again, Aikman was horrible in his first season. I want to see more of henson before I make the opinion that he's just some spare. He's rusty and it showed...but he might be able to progress if he'd get more of a chance to.

Julius really showed me something yesterday... he ran HARD... maybe that injury did him some good... either way, he carried the load on O...

And I'm not worried about Henson yet at all... anything he shows this season thats productive is a positive as far as I'm concerned... and he's definitely showed some positives

I think it's a bit early to name Jones the savior for the Cowboys' running game. I mean, he was playing against a Bears defense ranked in the middle of the pack in the league, who was missing the heart of their team in Urlacher. He did look good, but one week is nothing to judge by.

Let's remember that Adams has been playing like shit as well so even though the Bears defense is in the middle of the pack, Jones did great period.

True, but if any team is missing someone the caliber of Urlacher, I think it's difficult to judge their ability to stop the run.

A team's ability to stop the run isn't always defined by a single player. Urlacher isn't a make or break player against the run. Granted, they are a good deal better against the run when he is in the lineup, but one player doesn't change the run defense.

The jury is definitely still out on Jones, but he's shown more promise than what Eddie George has shown this year coupled with what Troy Hambrick had last year. That bit of promise gives hope to a Cowboys team that has had a strong running game for the past quarter of a century

Well, considering they were in the backfield every other play...

Who do the Cowboys think they are, passing on high-caliber RBs...the Denver Broncos?
