The reason it's not talked about much, I think, is because it's not played live (and yes, before someone jumps in with the dates and places, I'm aware it was performed a couple of times) and therefore not so many people have stories about it. As far as I can tell, there's a fair amount of love for No Way on the board, I would suggest Angus and Cal as a good pair to get started on it, if I remember correctly they're both Yieldophiles like us.
Damn right on the bridge by the by, that is a beautiful wee bit.

I've read this thread,
went to the search tool and got completely lost,
no matter what I did, it gave me 0 results.
Anyway, it's a great song. I think it took me out of all Yield-songs the longest to get into. That Pittsburgh version is great. "No Way. My answer to that: NO WAY. We could try it. Should we try it? It would be the first time. I believe. Should we try it?" But the studio version is still a whole lot better.
I heard/read somewhere sometime that it's because the guitar parts are practically the same throughout the whole song (except for that great bridge) that they don't play it. I tend to not believe that.
Loved the "No Way" sign that was shown at all the shows I've been to. Now if they just could play it again at a show i'll attend, I'd be very happy.

Fuck Leash. If I was able to request one song, it'd be No Way. No doubt about it.
It is by far my most played studio Pearl jam song, and definately one of my favorites all around. Fucking awesome. If I don't get at least one soundboard recording of this song before they quit, I'll be really pissed.

Agreed...we need to bring YIELD signs and chant NO WAY, NO WAY....

I really like the song, but one thing I always disliked about it is the "Let's call it an angel" line. WTF is that supposed to mean? Just doesn't fit into the song's theme, IMO.
For me, I used to really look over it because of it being in between Faithfull and Given to Fly. I'm glad I eventually warmed up to it.

I believe the line is - "let's call it an injust"
At least that is what is sounds like to me, and seems to fit more with the other lyrics. Awesome song. Listened to it on the way to work today.

It is angel. What's an "injust"??? Since it's "lets call in an angel," I believe Ed is hoping an angel type of person will come to be there for him (or the protaganist in the song).

Ah, "in" makes much more sense than "it."
For the longest time I thought the repeated final line of All Those Yesterdays was "You've got time to ask him" instead of "You've got time to escape." For some reason those Yield lyrics really fuck with me.

here's a token of my open-ness
of my need to not disappear
how i'm feeling, so revealing to me
i found my mind too clear
i just need someone to be there for.. me
i just want someone to be there for.. me
all the static in my attic-a
shoots down my sciatic nerve
to the ocean of my platitudes
longitudes, latitudes, it's so absurd
i just need someone to be there for..
i just want someone to be there for..
someone to be there for me
'cause i'll stop trying to make a difference
i'm not trying to make a difference
i'll stop trying to make a difference
no way
'cause i'll stop trying to make a difference
i'm not trying to make a difference
i'll stop trying to make a difference
no way
ooh, let's call in an angel
ooh, let's call in an angel
ooh, let's call in an angel
'cause i'll stop trying to make a difference
i'm not trying to make a difference
i'll stop trying to make a difference
no way
'cause i'll stop trying to make a difference
i'm not trying to make a difference
i'll stop trying to make a difference
no way, no way
let's call in an angel
who's calling an angel?
