football salaries are a little more complicated than that. Manning doesn't actually make $35 million a year.

he's been in the league for only 2 years and wasn't a top 10 draft pick, so yeah, he's not getting paid much yet.

I see what you mean. Tom Brady is similar, his money is made up of signing bonuses. He was a low draft pick too. When these guys contracts are up I guess they will cost a few dollars for whoever signs them
