when they first did the promos for this show, i thought it was made up. having watched the first two episodes, im hooked. not nearly as bad as i thought it would be, and its good to see someone like that (get rich young and thinking it will last) get slapped back down to reality and realising they have to really work at it to make the little things in life seem sane and work

Is this the one about that fucker from Making the Band? It's hilarious the way MTV cannibalizes it's stars.

That's a good way to put it. This guy is an asshole and doesn't deserve whatever he gets, he was created by the television and now he's getting re-created by television. He's not working for anything. Aside from that, his so called "performing" in the previews was nothing special. There are a million other preppy-suburban douchebags trying to make it with an acoustic guitar. The show I'm sure is entertaining though, as trashy as MTV is they have some pretty great shows.

Isn't it called "There and Back?"

Regardless, I unabashedly watch this show. God bless David Sirulnick.

i dont know, he seems fairly human in the episodes so far, going through the same shit everyone else is out there, he just happend to blow alot of money to get him where he is at. i mean, its not like he's having a wine tasting party and posting the pictures of it on the internet ;)

I don't even remember them being all that big. In my town, Nsync ruled the day.

They weren't. They were on Making the Band, so MTV played them all the time, but they never caught on like Nsync or the Backstreet Boys. And their songs were fucking horrible, even by manufactured late 90s pop standards.

Btw, I know this b/c I have a sister who was around 10 during the whole boy band explosion.

I watched some of this and he just seems like a beach teen. His girlfriend is having a baby and he uses words like "whoa" "this is trippin' me out" and teenage boy rheotiric. He just seems so corny and he is so whiny and airheaded. I feel sorry for his child, and not just his name, but his dad is an immature trainwreck and his mom is a hole. Good luck kid.

And yet, I'll bet even they will use a carseat.

This formula, whether you are a rock icon (Ozzy, Dave Navarro to a lesser extent), a successful but boring wanna be punk (Travis Barker), a member of the Simpson family, or this cocklicker from O-Town, has painfully run its course.

This one is even worse as he takes time to talk to the camera in the gayest of ways. But honestly, NOTHING EVER HAPPENS.

This show will only get interesting if he somehow gets shipped off to Iraq for a USO show, gets captured by Iraqi insurgents and slaughtered on Al-Jazeera while his gravy train derailing wife watches.

It's so great watching these fools come back down to earth.

Teenage girls: "I recognize you from somewhere."
O-Town guys: "Yeah, we were in the boy band O-Town"
Teenage girls: "Yeah, we used to listen to you. What are you doing now?"
O-Town guys: "We're building you're living room."

His wife/girlfriend/whateversheis, is a whiny little bitch. For some reason I watched the show the other night and it was the one where he got into a lil fight with some guy at a show. I couldn't help but laugh.

This, like many other MTV shows, is a guilty pleasure to watch.

That guy Ashley has a head full of rocks though. And he's still joined at the hip to his mommy.
