The next highest teammate took 11 shots, but it really doesn't matter. The Lakers were getting killed by 18 halfway through the third quarter, and Kobe had about 35 at that point. Why wouldn't he just start shooting them to victory? Should he have kept passing the ball to Odom and Kwame Brown so he could watch them miss all night?

he took 46 out of 88 i believe.

he also made 28 out of the 42 baskets they had.

that means kobe shot 28 for 46, while the rest of the team shot 14 for 42.

i also think it's amusing that he's so good

With them up 12 points in the 4th he took 9 of their next 11 shots. (one being a teammates 3 with 9 seconds left).

Amazing game, I have to give him that, but again I question why this guy needs to jack up 66 shots (if you include free throws) in a game.

Oh, and Toronto should be ashamed of themselves. Don't at some point do you have a little pride and play some d or just start clobbering the guy? Maybe throw a forearm into his throat when he drives.

I hope he is happy putting up a bunch of great scoring numbers and never winning a title when he is the #1 option on his team.

I'd say the chances are much higher that he wont.

oh, I guess we can all stop making any kinds of predictions or opinions on future events in sports because we "don't know".

If Kobe was 7'2 he'd average 95 or something?
just kidding, I'm a big fan of Kobe, he's such a good player but yeah.. sometimes he needs to pass the ball to his team mates, some of them suck though.

I don't see anything wrong with saying "I don't think Kobe will win another title". But to say things so matter-of-factly like you've seen the future doesn't make much sense.
